We are in Scotland
A message was found in Edinburgh inside a bottle of whisky dating back to October 6, 1987. The protagonist is 50-year-old plumber Peter Allan who was moving a radiator to replace it. It happened on Monday, November 14.

The message
The message was signed and dated by two workers and read: "James Ritchie and John Grieve put this floor, but they didn't drink the whiskey. Anyone who finds this bottle may think that Our dust is flying along the road"

The house in question
The house belongs to Mrs. Eilidh Stimpson and although the find seemed really old-fashioned, Mrs. Stimpson certainly could not imagine it dates back to the Victorian age.

The previous record
The message is therefore 135 years old, three more than the 132 reached by the message in the bottle that held the previous record, dating back to 1886 but found in Australia in 2018.

The post on Facebook
Mrs. Eilidh Stimpson posted on her Facebook profile a photo of the message found calling what happened "a small piece of history".
