Sons of art: here are the promising star children of famous parents

Is being a son of art a great fortune? Not necessarily. It is true that having an important surname can open some doors more easily and make it easier for them to enter the entertainment world, but the road may prove to be more uphill for them then, because of the inevitable comparison with their illustrious parents.

Despite the difficulties, there are those who have managed to build their own independent careers, such as Sofia Coppola.

One film after another, from The Garden of Virgin Suicides to Bling Ring, the 45-year-old director has managed to become a major player on the film scene, overcoming initial mistrust and making people forget, or almost forget, that she is the daughter of a master of the Seventh Art like Francis Ford Coppola.
